Easter Half Term Camp

We will be running a pre-season Half Term Camp at our ground, during the two week Easter Holidays, 30th March to 10th April. Mon-Fri 9:30am-3:30pm. Earliest drop off is 9am, latest pick up is 4pm.

This is a hardball camp, split into two groups: experienced hardball players and for those players transitioning to hardball. It is aimed at developing players who will play in the U10-U13 age group teams this season. These players will have already shown an aptitude for the game and are ready to be stretched with more advanced & individually tailored training. This is designed to give some intensive preparation before players start the season. Players are grouped and coached based on their experience, age and ability. This camp is suitable for boys & girls, from school year 4 to school year 8.

A Typical Camp Day

09:00 – 09:30 Welcome and registration

09:30 – 10:45 Tutorial Session on game strategy and tactics, rules, ethics, and history of the game

11:00 – 13:00 Individual Skills Development (specifically tailored for each player, including video analysis where appropriate)

13:00 – 13:30 Lunch

13:30 – 15:30 Game Based Skills Development (in game scenarios to implement things learned in tutorials and individual skills development)

15:30 – 16:00 Pick up

The camp is divided by age ability into two groups

•      Advanced Hardball

•      Intermediate & Transition to Hardball

Camp days are not cancelled due to rain, as tutorial sessions are fitted in around rain breaks.
