Camps

Summer Camp

The summer cricket camp takes place at our club after the end of the junior season, during the summer school holidays in July & August. Players are grouped and coached based on their experience, age and ability. This camp is suitable for boys & girls of all ages between school year 3 and school year 8. 

The summer camp is divided into three groups:

  • Advanced to Intermediate Hardball
  • Transition to Hardball
  • Softball

A Typical Camp Day

09:00 – 09:30 Welcome and registration

09:30 – 10:45 Tutorial Session on tactics, rules, ethics, and history of the game

11:00 – 13:00 Individual Skills Development (specifically tailored for each player, including video analysis where appropriate)

13:00 – 13:30 Lunch

13:30 – 15:15 Game Based Skills Development (in game scenarios to implement things learned in tutorials and individual skills development)

15:30 – 16:00 Pick up

Camp days are not cancelled due to rain, as cricket tutorial sessions are fitted in around rain breaks. Details of the 2026 camp will appear here nearer the time, along with dates, pricing and how to book.

Advanced Players Camp

These camps take place at our club during the pre season and mid season half term breaks. They are aimed at developing and aspiring players between the ages of 10-12. These players will have already shown an aptitude for the game and are ready to be stretched with more advanced & individually tailored training. This is designed to give some intensive preparation before players start the season and during the mid-season point of the junior season.

  • Mon 6th April - Fri 10th April
  • Mon 25th May - Fri 29th May

High Performers Camp

This camp takes place at our club during the half term school breaks and is aimed at players between the ages of 13-15 who have already taken part in some representative cricket in the borough or county pathways. This is designed to give some intensive preparation before players start the new season, and then again at the mid-season point.
